Artistic swimming – once called “synchronised swimming” – is one of a kind effortless and elegant sport at the Olympic Games at first appearance; yet it is one of the most demanding and complete under all aspects. Nowadays it requires a solid overall body awareness on land to then transfer in the pool – just like flexibility, acrobatic skills, music, and body coordination as well as artistic interpretation. Without considering long life exceptional lungs and aerobic capacities – especially upside down!
Although there are various number of events in terms of format as well as number of athletes involved in each performance, it is a team sport. Indeed, that is the biggest and most fascinating strength of artistic swimmers, who can reproduce art in movement throughout physical strength whilst becoming balanced human beings for life – both inside and outside the pool.
Our mission is to give the opportunity to all our athletes to practice the sport that they love to the best of their abilities whilst growing positively and safely within a close sport community that will inspire them to become balanced human beings for the rest of their lives.
